Evety remains responsible for the protection of your data even in this case. The service provider works exclusively in accordance with our instructions, which we ensure through strict contractual regulations, technical and organisational measures and additional controls. We commission companies in the following areas in particular: IT, sales, marketing, finance, consulting, customer service, human resources, logistics, printing.
To co-operation partners who provide services for you under their own responsibility. This is the case if you commission the services of such partners from us or if you consent to the involvement of the partner or if we involve the partner on the basis of a legal authorisation.
Due to legal obligation: In certain cases, we are legally obliged to transmit certain data to the requesting government agency.

6 Where will my data be processed?

Your data is generally processed in Germany and other European countries.
If, in exceptional cases, your data is also processed in countries outside the European Union (i.e. in so-called third countries), this will take place if you have expressly consented to this or if it is necessary for the provision of our services to you or if it is provided for by law (Art. 49 GDPR). In addition, your data will only be processed in third countries if certain measures ensure that there is an adequate level of data protection (e.g. adequacy decision of the EU Commission or so-called suitable guarantees, Art. 44 et seq. of the GDPR).

7 What data is collected, how is it used and how long is it stored?

When you visit our website, the web server temporarily records the domain name or IP address of your computer, the client’s file request (file name and URL), the http response code and the website from which you are visiting us. The logged data is used exclusively for data security purposes, in particular for defence against attempted attacks on our web server (Art. 6 para. 1 f GDPR). It is neither used to create individual user profiles nor passed on to third parties and is deleted after 7 days at the latest. We reserve the right to statistically analyse anonymised data records.

8 How secure is my data?

To protect your data from unauthorised access and misuse, we have taken extensive technical and operational security precautions in accordance with German law.

9. Is my usage behaviour evaluated, e.g. for advertising or tracking?

We want you to enjoy using our websites and utilise our products and services. We have an economic interest in this. We analyse your usage behaviour in anonymised or pseudonymised form so that you can find the products that interest you and we can design our websites in a user-friendly way. We, or companies commissioned by us as part of commissioned data processing, create user profiles within the framework of the statutory regulations. It is not possible to draw any direct conclusions about you. Below we provide you with general information about the various purposes and techniques. You then have the option of objecting. Please note, however, that in this case you may not be able to use all the functions of our website.

9.1 Purposes of use (Art. 6 para. 1 f GDPR / §15 para. 3 TMG)

9.1.1 Tag management

Tag management is used to manage tracking tools in websites. For this purpose, a tag is defined for each page. The tag can then be used to determine which tracking tools should be used for this page. Tag management can therefore be used to control tracking in a targeted manner so that the tools are only used where they make sense.

Google Tag Manager

This website uses Google Tag Manager. This service allows website tags to be managed via an interface. The Google Tool Manager only implements tags. This means that no cookies are used and no personal data is collected. The Google Tool Manager triggers other tags, which in turn may collect data. However, the Google Tag Manager does not access this data. If deactivation has been carried out at domain or cookie level, it remains in place for all tracking tags, provided that these are implemented with the Google Tag Manager.

9.1.2 Marktforschung / Reichweitenmessung

The aim of reach measurement is to statistically determine the intensity of use and the number of users of a website and to obtain comparable values for all connected offers. At no time are individual users identified. Their identity always remains protected.

Google Analytics

This website uses functions of the web analysis service Google Analytics. The provider is Google Inc. 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. Google Analytics uses so-called ‘cookies’. These are text files that are stored on your computer and enable your use of the website to be analysed. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there.
By activating IP anonymisation on this website, your IP address will be shortened beforehand by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and truncated there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to analyse your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity and to provide other services relating to website activity and internet usage to the website operator. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data.
You may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser, however please note that if you do this you may not be able to use the full functionality of this website. You can also prevent Google from collecting the data generated by the cookie and relating to your use of the website (including your IP address) and from processing this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available at the following link: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de

9.1.3 Profiles for the customised design of the web portal.

In order to constantly improve the websites, we create so-called clickstream analyses. The clickstream corresponds to your movement path on the websites. The analysis of the movement paths provides us with information about user behaviour on our websites. This allows us to identify possible structural errors in the websites and thus improve the websites so that they can be optimised to meet your needs. At no time are individual users identified.

9.1.4. Conversion-Tracking

Third-party tools are used on this website for analysis purposes. These tools measure the effectiveness with which users are addressed by adverts (so-called ‘conversion tracking’).
If you click on adverts from a third-party provider mentioned below, a cookie for conversion tracking is stored on your computer. If you now visit a specific website, the third-party provider and we can recognise that you have clicked on the ad and have been redirected to this page. This enables us to collect data that is important for our advertising measures. We may learn the total number of users who have clicked on an advert, the duration of the visit, the operating system, the device model, the location, payment transactions carried out and to what extent mobile apps were used. We are not provided with any personal information about the identity of the user.
If you do not wish to participate in this conversion tracking process in the future, you can refuse the setting of a cookie required for this – for example, by changing your browser settings to generally deactivate the automatic setting of cookies. For example, you can use the ‘Do not track’ (‘DNT’) option of your Internet browser.
Please note that you must perform such a step separately for each of your end devices.
We work with the following third-party providers in the context of conversion tracking:
– Outbrain Conversion Pixel – Further information on data protection and cookies from Outbrain Inc, 39 West 13th Street, 3rd floor, New York, NY 10011, USA, can be found at here.
– LinkedIn Conversion Pixel – Further information on data protection and cookies from LinkedIn Corporation, 1000 West Maude Avenue, Sunnyvale CA 94085, USA, can be found at here.
– Taboola Conversion Pixel: – Further information on data protection and cookies from Taboola Inc. (28 West 23rd St., 5th fl., New York, NY 10010), can be found at here (Opt-out information can be found under ‘Site Visitor Choices’).

9.2 Techniques

Cookies: We use cookies for certain offers. These are small text files that are stored on your computer. This allows us to recognise when you repeatedly visit websites from the same computer.
Session cookies are cookies that are only stored on your computer for the duration of an internet session and are required for the functionality of the website.
For certain offers, we use persistent cookies that enable us to recognise your browser on your next visit. These cookies are valid for 10 minutes or 72 hours.
You have the option of setting your browser so that these cookies are not stored in the first place, or so that the cookies are deleted at the end of your Internet session. Please note, however, that in this case you may not be able to use all the functions of our website. You can find information on browser settings at https://www.sicherdigital.de/sicher-surfen#sicher-surfen-browsereinstellungen
Additional personal data, such as your name, address, telephone number or e-mail address, is not collected unless you provide this information voluntarily.
Measurement pixels are usually only 1×1 pixel images and are transparent or created in the colour of the background so that they are not visible. When a website containing a measurement pixel is opened, this small image is downloaded from the provider’s server on the Internet and the download is registered there. This allows the provider of the procedure to see when and how many users requested this measurement pixel or visited a website. The provider can also determine whether JavaScript is activated in the browser or not. If JavaScript is activated, further information such as browser information, operating system and screen resolution can be recorded.
This function is usually realised by a JavaScript call, but the term measurement pixel is still used.
JavaScripts are used to call up the application and transfer the collected parameters to the respective service provider/measurement pixel provider.
You can find more information about cookies and the individual providers on the websites www.meine-cookies.org or www.youronlinechoices.com. There you also have the option of objecting to usage-based online advertising by individual companies or by all companies at https://www.youronlinechoices.com/de/praferenzmanagement/. We have voluntarily submitted to the self-regulation of the German Data Protection Council for Online Advertising (DDOW).

10. Services of other companies that provide their services as controllers Google

This website uses Google Maps to display maps and to create directions. Google Maps is operated by Google Inc, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. By embedding Google Maps, your IP address is transmitted directly to Google and a cookie is stored as soon as you visit such a website. You can find out more about data processing by Google at any time at https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy and object to this. The terms of use for Google Maps can be found at Terms of Use for Google Maps. You can find more details in the data protection centre of google.de: Transparency and choices and privacy policy.
This website uses so-called Google Web Fonts to display fonts. These are provided by Google (http://www.google.com/webfonts/). To do this, your browser loads the required web font into the browser cache when you call up the page. This is necessary so that your browser can also display a visually improved representation of our texts. If your browser does not support this function, a standard font from your computer will be used for display. You can find further information on Google Web Fonts at https://developers.google.com/fonts/faq?hl=de-DE&csw=1
If you have reached our website via a Google advert, an affiliate advert or an e-mail from evety, Google AdWords will store a cookie on your computer. This cookie loses its validity after 30 days. It is not possible to identify you personally.
The information collected with the help of the conversion cookie is used to compile statistics about our conversion rate. This means that we find out how many users have come to our website via a Google advert, an affiliate advert or an email and have taken an action within 30 days.
If you do not wish to participate in the tracking process, you can disable cookies for conversion tracking by changing your browser settings to block cookies from the relevant domain:
– Google Adwords: googleadservices.com
General information on data protection at Google can be found at http://www.google.com/intl/de-DE/policies/privacy/

Facebook

We use the Facebook Custom Audience service and Facebook Pixel on our websites to optimise our advertising offer, provided you have given Facebook your consent to do so. Further information about these Facebook services and the privacy policy of Facebook Ireland Ltd, 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2, Ireland (‘Facebook’) can be found at the link https://www.facebook.com/privacy/explanation retrieve. If you use a Facebook user account, this is recognisable for the Facebook pixel on our websites by the Facebook cookie that is set, via which the collected usage data is transmitted to Facebook for analysis and marketing purposes. You can check and/or deactivate this data collection and the further processing and use of the data by Facebook directly on Facebook.
The Facebook pixel is a JavaScript code that transmits the following data to Facebook
– HTTP header information (including IP address, web browser information, page location, document, website URL and user agent of the web browser as well as day and time of use) – Pixel-specific data; this includes the pixel ID and Facebook cookie data, including your Facebook ID (this data is used to link events to a specific Facebook advertising account and assign them to a Facebook user) – Additional information about visits to our websites, as well as standard and custom data events.
- Orders placed (purchase transactions) – Completion of registrations and trial subscriptions – Products searched for, access to product information

The aforementioned data processing only affects users who have an account with Facebook or who have accessed a Facebook partner page (which sets a cookie). The display of adverts on Facebook (partner) pages using the ‘Custom Audience’ service does not affect users who are not members of Facebook. If the Facebook ID contained in the Facebook cookie can be assigned to a Facebook user, Facebook assigns this user to a target group (‘Custom Audience’) based on the rules defined by us, provided that the rules are relevant. We use the information obtained in this way to present Telekom adverts on Facebook (partner) pages.
If you wish to object to the use of Facebook Pixel, you can set an opt-out cookie on Facebook or deactivate JavaScript in your browser. For more information and the setting options for protecting your privacy for advertising purposes, please refer to Facebook’s privacy policy, which can be found at https://www.facebook.com/ads/website_custom_audiences/ are to be found.

By activating the social media plug-in (Art. 6 para. 1 a GDPR), the following data can be transmitted to the social media providers IP address, browser information, operating system, screen resolution, installed browser plug-ins such as Adobe Flash Player, previous website if you followed a link (referrer), the URL of the current website, etc…
The next time you visit the website, the social media plugins are again provided in the default inactive mode, so that when you visit the website again, it is ensured that no data is transmitted.

13. newsletter / MailChimp

You can also subscribe to our newsletter on our website. Registration for our newsletter is voluntary and is not required to use the rest of the website.
We use this data exclusively for sending the newsletter. We use the so-called double opt-in procedure to subscribe to our newsletter. This means that after you have registered, we will send you an email to the email address you have provided in which we ask you to confirm (by clicking on a link) that you wish to receive the newsletter.
The processing takes place on the basis of the consent you give when registering for our newsletter (Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. a GDPR). By processing the data, we also pursue the legitimate interest of informing you regularly about interesting news and to fulfil our legal obligations (Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. c and f GDPR).

You can withdraw your consent to receive our newsletter at any time by clicking on the link at the bottom of the email you receive.
