As part of the RMC project, we are supporting the consortium of energy suppliers and network operators in the Rhine-Main region in the development of a regional hydrogen distribution network.
Here, we are mainly providing support in the preparation and consolidation of the various hydrogen potentials in the supply areas and the development of a standardised market ramp-up model.
Based on detailed spatial resistance analyses, we plan the detailed routes and use a network hydraulic model to determine the dimensions and therefore the costs of the network.
Based on these costs, a business case model is developed for the financial evaluation of the project, thus laying the foundation for the concretisation of a regional hydrogen infrastructure.
